Playing a B2b 4-deck set of afrobeat, soukous, highlife, salsa, cumbia and all of the brassy brasilian and island sounds in the middle, they play edits & originals to make bodies move and minds travel.
Karawane are regulars at YAAM (Berlin) and Malandar (Sevilla), signed as producers to Samedia Records, stage curators at Belladrum and Findhorn Bay Festivals, and hosts of the wildly popular Karawane Takeover nights in the Highlands, where they bring that live, fluid carnival feel to the...shall we say...quieter corners of Scotland!
